Today, the first cargo train is coming to Biratnagar.

The cargo train is coming to Biratnagar for the first time from Bathnaha, India.

After the joint inauguration by Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and his counterpart Narendra Modi, who is currently on a visit to India, the cargo train will depart from Bathnaha for Biratnagar.

The rail is currently being prepared with decorations in Bathnaha.

The rail will arrive at the customs yard in Biratnagar.

After four years of successful trial runs, the rail is finally arriving in Biratnagar.

In the process of constructing the Bathnaha-Kathari railway line, work has been stopped due to a land dispute in Ward No. 1 of Kathari Municipality.

From Bathnaha to the integrated customs checkpoint in Biratnagar, a 7.6-kilometer rail track, including an inspection checkpoint (ICP), is suitable for operation.
